ABOUT OUR PASTOR
Pastor Pat Weaver served the Lord at Calvary Bible Church from 1992-2000 as youth pastor and worship leader. After serving the Lord as senior pastor at Leon Bible Church in Leon , Iowa from 2000-2006 the Lord called him back to CBC to be senior pastor. He, his wife Susan, and son Benjamin are delighted to serve and worship with a fellowship that they love very much.
Pat received his bachelor's degree in Bible and Music from Calvary Bible College and Theological Seminary in 1990. It was at Calvary that he met his wife Susan who was a piano performance major. Married in 1990, they welcomed son Benjamin into the family in 1996.
Pastor Pat has a passion for the Word, expository preaching, and serving in the liberty, freedom, and grace that Christ purchased for us on the cross. Pastor Pat's desire is that our fellowship be a family that looks like Jesus Christ inside and out and that all in our neighborhood and community will see the power of the life transforming gospel put on display.
Pastor Pat's hobbies include riding his motorcycle, running and working out, listening to Susan playing the piano, spending time with Benjamin, hunting and shooting sports, building computers, hiking, and enjoying the beauty of God's creation and His people.
We have a special group of people at Calvary Bible Church who are being transformed by grace into servants of Jesus and it is a privilege to have guests join us when we gather for worship. You are welcome to come check us out!
